Is methadone used to treat inhalant addiction?

I've heard of methadone being used to treat a lot of addictions from heroin to benzos to painkillers and even pot (lol?). I beiginning to think I might actually have a problem like everyone has been telling me. I guess I was always to fu**ed up to admit it. I huff a lot of axe, hairspray, and nailpolish remover. It tenderizes it more, but the flavours will be minimal, unless you have made slits in the carc. I have done it and cooked it both in the oven and did a deep fried one once, not my favourite way, but the bird is moister and tender , but the actual seasonings and flavour will not be overpowering. My cat can't move!?!?!?!?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Just looking for advice or possible answers. Here is the story. I woke up this morning and my cat was walking like his foot was asleep. (Right front) At first I brushed it off, he just woke up too so maybe it was asleep. But then he jumped up on the bathtub ledge like he always does and fell face first into the tub. His foot still wasn't working. I called the animal hospital and they told me to bring him in. So I took the morning off work and took my cat in for an examination. This Dr. was lousy. he felt her leg just like I did, told me it wasn't broken, which I already knew, and then said I needed an MRI. He said to crate her for a week and then call him. So I took him home and went to work for 4 hours. When I got home, he was worse! His back leg had now quit working. They are both stuck at the elbow straight out. So I called the emergency vet since it was now after hours. They told me to bring him in and were so much better. They weighed him and took his vitals. They then told me they have no idea what is wrong. There are a series of tests they could run but its all chance and very expensive. They said it is most likely neurological since it is all on the right side of his body and he isn't feeling pain. so they put him on steroids and antibiotics. They also told me the other side of his body is weak. It's strange because he doesn't seem to understand his body inst working. Now, he cant flip up his paws, and cant even sit or stand. He just lays there. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with him? He is about 5 or 6. Indoor cat. NEVER been outdoors in over 3 years. Male, Neutered. 7lbs. All this started this morning, at 730 am. so within 14 hours he went from not being able to use one leg to almost his entire body.

I am in a relationship and have been for four years. we met when we were 19 and 20. her family moved to alabama about 6 months into our relationship. i stayed in maine where we met for about a month to tie up some loose ends and things before i moved to alabama and lived with her family. we both worked full time for two years while we lived in alabama and lived at her parents the whole time. we decided we wanted to go to school and we knew we could move back to maine with my parents and go to school and a community college near my home. so we did. we have been back in maine for about 2 years. my girlfriend did a program that required her to go to school from 8am untill 330 pm every day and still had to study and do all the school stuff. while she did this i worked full time and went to school taking cles toward a degree. about a month ago we broke up for about 2 weeks because i was 'overbearing' i get very bad anxiety when she goes out with people especially when i dont know them. sometimes i think she doesnt want me to be friends with her friends. like i know i dont want to go shopping with her and her girlfriends, but when she is out to a bard untill ten or eleven at night haveing a good time i would like to be there and enjoying the time also. and the thing that kills me the most is that she doesnt even invite me becuase she really doesnt want me there. we broke up about a week before her gradguation and were broken up until about a week after. i still went and we talked every day still but i didnt really get to partake in any of the celebration after even though i feel like i worked very hard. i know she could have done it without me but i dont think she would have had the time availible to her that she did. but i cant get over the fact that we can never go back and do it over again. now that we are together we dont live together she lives at her moms a couple towns over and i live at my parents. she has a job with her degree and we are planning on moving out soon. we do see eachother nearly every day for a couple hours but its really only when i make the effort. like a couple days ago she stopped by to see me at work on her way home which was awsome but i asked her to. i dont think she would do it otherwise. during the week i drive to her house at the drop of a hat to see her but i dont think she would do the same. i love her and i want to be with her. is it crazy for me to want theses things and to feel like this?

How come people say German Shepherds need a house and a yard?

Well german shepherds are working dogs. They need a lot of room, they are large and don't really like being crowded, but if you take him out on runs for long periods of time or take him out for short periods quite frequently then he should be good. Crates need to be large enough that he can moved around freely in them, so the taller and wider the crate is the better for those dogs, outdoors ones can usually accommodate better than the ones in door.

Itching all over, awaiting hep C blood test.?

Hi. I am awaiting a hep C blood test after getting splashed with blood from a hep C patient (i work on a dialysis unit). Even though occupational health have said i'm really low risk i'm a bit worried about it. Symptoms of early hep c are pretty rare i believe but i have been itching really bad over last couple of weeks. This started about a week after the blood splashed on me. I'm worried that the itching is an early symptom but i'm hoping its just a result of the anxiety, as i'm imagining i've caught it and its like its making my skin crawl. Has anyone else developed itching for no reason or because they think they've caught something. Can itching be psycho-sematic.

feeding is about choice, but due to many of our societies outlook on feeding women feel it's embarring and/or inconvenient. Women don't need support from family and support workers, it's not hard for a woman with maternal instinct to figure out how feeding works, after all it's hardly rocket science, it's natural. The article makes out that women need protection and rights when it comes to feeding, when all they need is people to understand that it is natural. In some countries women are shamed for bottle feeding their children, so of course most women are influenced into feeding, but like you said it comes down to choice. The article talks about being oppressed, but surely not giving the option of bottle feeding is oppressing when the other option is viable and avaliable. It's up to the mother (and father) to weigh the pro's and cons and to what suits them.

feeding moms I need your help re: thrush from antibiotics?

I'm just getting over a really bad case of mastitis and I am on antibiotics and I think I might have thrush over the last few days my have become really sore and cracked and I think I have a "milk blister " on it from the thrush it's really painful to nurse the side and inbetween feedings I have this really deep pain kind of like the pins and needles feeling when you letdown but worse. Im scheduling an appt today but my dr. is an idiot so how do I know for sure I have it. My baby does not show any signs yet like no patchy white stuff in mouth or no diaper rash can it take several days for those signs to show in him? I have minor knee pain when I bend my knee.. Mostly when I bend it in a way to sit in an Indian style position. No noticeable swelling but on the inner part of my knee it has a hard area about an inch and a half wide that can be felt when it is bent that is not there on my other knee. Just kind of worried. I've googled symptoms of knee ailments I know about but none of the symptoms match what I have. I'm a 23 year old female and I'm not overweight but I don't do a lot of strenuous activity either. ok so here it goes.. I am a gay male of age 18, and it all started a year and a half ago with my ex boyfriend, he was perfect and everything i wanted, fun, loving and always give me the time to see my friends without any questions asked he trusted me with all his heart .. after being with him for a full year he then became a little secretive and i found out on numerous occasions he was talking to other men behind my back about rude things ect... and swapping pictures.... i got a bit worried about it and it give me a terrible attitude towards him for it ( although i knew he would never cheat on me). But i still didnt like the idea of him talking to others behind my back! and so my attitude got worse and changed as a person i got very paronoid constantly ect and he didnt like it so he shut me up by hitting me, i dumped him on more than 4 occasions for it but always went back to him within a day either because i felt guilty or because i still loved him. and then one day i found myself with a friend telling me he ha just finished his boyfriend and i was relieved as i realy fancied him for a long time. and straight to the chance i dumped my boyfriend and was single for about a week and jumped into a relationship with my friend. and so my ex boyfriend who was gutted and couldnt believe it got sad and upset and lost alot of weight and begged me to take him back and i said no. and so life with my new boyfriend was perfect i loved it, but then things started to change.. he would take huffs and pick arguments when i wanted to go out with my friends and would stop me from going out drinking with them , i had just turned 18 and wanted to live the life of an 18 year old which still today i have not had. it turns out he is everything i dont want, he is paronoid, boring and doesnt trust me at all ! and we have stupidly moved of our parents houses and now live alone in a flat together which makes me hate him more. all my money goes into the flat and no money left for socialising ect.. and he knows that and loves the fact i dont have money to do anything. i love him, but i hate him to and dont know if i want to leave him for thease reasons or not. i have also been meeting up with my ex boyfriend just to talk as friends and we still love eachother that doesnt help me either and i know the life i would like is with him and i kind of want him back but dont want to leave my boyfriend either. and so i am VERY CONFUSED. my ex boyfriend also has a boyfriend to who resembles me in soo many ways, and this also stops me from going back to him i just dont know what to do :( please help! Feeding baby corn snakes?

About a week ago I bought my sons two baby corn snakes and today was their day to eat. I went down to the pet store we bought them from and got two pinkies, but the ones the guy gave me are HUGE!!! I think they are baby rats or something and really really fat. I told the guy over and over that they were baby corn snakes and he said they would work. I got them home and one of the snakes acts like its not interested at all. The other attacked the pinkie and is trying to eat it but seems to be having a really hard time of eating it. He has been working on it for about 25 min and hasn't made much if any progress. Does this seem right? How long does it take a snake to eat it's pray?

Television of today?

I strongly believe TV of today should educate all kinds of people. I dont believe in using the power to be able to decide what people can see and hear in misguided or ill-ploted ways. Broadcasters have a responsibility to only have whats in the best interest for the people to observe what is happening and leave up to the people what they think of it rather than try to be witty or clever and p comment on what they think on tv. I see alot of propaganda on tv and it annoys me to no end esp when i hear them say it then it makes me angry to no end.The timeslot of the day provides an excellent way of knowing what to teach people whether young children or adults. For example in the morning the programmes broadcasted should help mothers and/or fathers to help raise their child(ren) i think the nanny Tv series program is good because it teaches parents how to deal with dysfunctional or troubled children and how to raise them properly. How to get people more aware / involved?

I LOVE that you are doing this! I do believe that people should get more involved. I don't so much get angry that ppl breed or buy, It just angers me that ppl will get a dog, a dog that obviously will take work, time, money then decide "oh its too much for us" and drop them at the shelter. would you drop your children at the shelter if they take too much time or money? I want to be in the Navy but something is telling me that maybe I am meant to do something else?

I'm 17 years old and waist-deep in the college admissions process. Obviously, I need to have a major in mind. I have good grades and could probably get into many universities but the problem is I have so many interests! I have been wanting to be a Naval Aviator since I was a young child and am almost done with my application to the Naval Academy. I love aviation and have been planning to major in aerospace engineering for a long time. I have currently just gotten back into a community college. I'm 24 years old and I have finally decided that I want to become a nurse. My plan originally is to transfer to a cal state where I can earn my bachelors degree. Guitar Hero Or Rock Band?

Definitely Rock Band 2. Besides the 84 on disc songs, the game comes with around 12 free downloadable songs. Oh, and did I mention huge amount of dlc? With the number of downloadable songs slowly reaching 1,000 ,(yeah, thats right. 1000 SONGS!), almost every rock song you can think of is making its way onto the game. Besides the mive song library, Rock Band is a blast to play with friends, where I find the Guitar Hero games ,(specifically the ones with the full band), are tedious and a little boring. The Guitar Hero drums may look cooler, but are at some times a little confusing and uncomfortable in my opinion. In fact I find myself playing the Guitar Hero game with my rock band drums. Either way, RB 2 is definitely a decision you can't go wrong with!

Ford Focus transmission question?

I have a 2003 Ford Focus with a 5 speed manual transmission. When I try to shift into 1st or 3rd gear; the shifter feels like it is hitting something. The transmission doesn't grind. It drives without any other noise or problems. The shifter feels like it is hitting something and makes a little bit of a clank when it goes into gear. The noise is louder if I shift it harder. The noise is the same if I'm driving or parked with the engine off. Could this be as simple as one of the shift cables hitting something or is it something like a synchro? It doesn't happen in any of the other gears; only 1st and 3rd.

Did i tear my ACL or MCL or MENISCUS?

OK, so literally 2 years ago i tore my right ACL and it has been a long process to getting back into a fully recovered state. I play soccer and yesterday i had a championship game. I was going for the ball, and a girl put her legs between me and the ball. So naturally I jumped over them when landing (with my feet already on the ground) this girl who was probably about 20-30lbs heavier then me just took me out. I heard a crack or a snap noise. But it didn't feel totally like my ACL injury because i could get up, I just couldn't run immediately. My friends helped me walk off half the field, but then I could walk with a little limp but pretty much normally. Now I don't recall where it hurt to begin, but right now I feel a lot of tension or pressure (it's the left leg) on the left side of my leg. I can walk up and down stairs, but it feels a lot of pressure and sometimes hurts. But what really hurts is bending it all the way, I did this less then 24 hours though. So if anyone can give me their input that would be great. Also my orthopedic told me I have naturally loose joints, and I'm a girl. (Girls are more pronee to these injuries). I'm really nervous and don't exactly know what they mean when people say does you knee feel like it's "caving in" so please help me I'm totally nervous and don't want to go through this process again. Recession happen at least one a decade but we have not had a financial crisis since the one triggered by the stock market crash in 1929. Even mild recession like the ones in 2000 and 1992 got a lot of media coverage and what is happening now is worse. Events that actually effect a large number of people is always big news and with 12 million unemployed most people at least know someone who is having trouble finding a job.

So, i was wondering, if, from years ago, everybody saw 'fat' as beautiful, (instead of being thin/slim), then probably sicknesses like anorexia and bulimia wouldn't even exist, right? I mean, isn't it the way the culture is, right now, that is resulting in cases of anorexia and bulimia? People, everybody, saw 'thin' as beautiful, and the look of being fat repulses people, so naturally, there'd be people who end up striving to be as thin as they could possibly get, no matter how skinny they already are. If the culture of humankind was completely different, like everybody loved to look fatter, more plump, more fleshy, they such sicknesses wouldn't even exist, would they???

Puppy forgetting house training?

My puppy did the exact same thing, its because there still a baby right, and there not 100% sure on everything yet, my puppy was trained fully by about 7 months and at 5 she would sometimes do messes but sometimes wine to go out, its just part of raising a puppy.

There is a reason why the due date is called estimate, because you could have conceived later than taught that is why you might go over. Wait 2 weeks after your due date and then consider induction (Especially if you have low risk pregnancy) Its best for the baby to come out on its own, and when the doctor suggests induction for no GOOD medical reason, its time to consider what his/her intentions are. I went one week over, I wasn't even dilated until my contractions started!

So here is my dilemma, my husband and I have custody of his 2 sons because the kids "egg donor" could not take care of them, nor herself. we went through the riverside county child support office here n california, and for a while they were garnishing her paychecks, but then she got fired because she was using the company truck for personal use. so she went on unemployment. because she only gets a little over 700 a month from unemployment. they want US to pay her because of a hardship!! She never sees the kids, and even on the court paperwork it states that she only has them 15% of the time. My computer is going crazy! PLEASE HELP!?

My computer was very much infected with viruses and trojans. So, since I haven't done it in a long time, I did a quick format and re-installed Windows XP. I must note that there were 2 partitions I saw before I formatted the HDD, one was 250GB, which I formatted and which had my operating system, and the other was about 8MB, which I didn't touch and left alone. After the reinstall of XP, I installed AntiVirus software, after which I saw errors, spelled in bad English! And my computer immediately rebooted. When it turned back on, the AntiVirus immediately started finding trojans/viruses infecting Windows system .exe files! Today, after 1 day, I turned my computer on, and the desktop is completely RED in color, there is a biohazardous sign that says warning. when using 2.5 grams of zinc and placing it in a reaction beaker, hydrogen gas and zinc sulfate soultion is a second reaction fromed from it. Would anyone know what would be the color of the hydrogen gas and the color is the aqueous zinc sulfate?

If I were you, I would stick with just pulling it, or cutting it down to about 3-4in in length. A mane does provide a significant amount of bug protection for a horse, and hogging (I've always heard it as roaching, but we'll go with hogging for now) it completely eliminates that natural defense.

Knee injury and rehab.......?

I had the meniscus of my right knee operated on in December and then I had the ACL of the same knee removed and replaced with a cadaver graft in February. I also tore the anterior tendon of the same knee but the doctor said it would heal by itself, I have been going to physical therapy and doing the stretches but my knee still wont straighten all the way and it is still really swollen. Now my doctor wants to do a third surgery to "fix" whatever is making my knee stay slightly bent and swell. My question is are there any ways to help the swelling go down besides ice and elevation? And are there any ways to get my knee to straighten???????

We got the emerald ash borer and wiped out millions of ash trees and have decimated them were a result of imports from Asia and it wasn't t food it was other goods in wood crates,is where it started. This state has had to remove all the trees from being dead and hoed it would stop the spreading and it went and spread much faster then ppredicted You have a good point in all aspects to mention food from other countries also do not have pesticide regulations and other restrictions on septic fields and growing etc, we are subjecting our nation to disease and death with certain imports when it is just n ot one bit necessary.

Sorry,I TOTALLY disagree with the FEED HIM IN HIS CRATE line......I tell everyone to NEVER feed him in the cage....a small treat,yes..but no bowls of food .He shouldn't have anything he can chew up in his cage while you are gone.....one of the most indestructible toys I have found are the kongs.......make sure you buy one that is big enough.Then,you can buy the squeeze cheese to go in it.I would start working with him and that while he is not required to go in the cage..for a couple days.Then,once he knows what is in it...try tossing it IN the cage and making him go get it.Allow him to carry it out to finish the first couple times.Then,toss it in the cage,say whatever command it is you use to get him in there...(I just use GO TO BED,for my Shar Peis....)...and shut the cage door while you are home,but walk away from the area.Let him cry and whine if he does.Sooner or later he is going to be more interested in getting the cheese out of that kong.Good luck.

Having the freedom to choose should always be paramount to freedom. Why can't we have both the freedom to choose comprehensive medical coverage or no coverage? Why force someone to pay for something they may not be able to afford to pay for and may not even need? Some people have a hard enough time paying the bills they already got. Now we are going to make them add another bill. I agree we need coverage that is affordable and accepts people regardless of preexisting conditions and actually covers moderate to serious health concerns. But it should still be a choice to obtain it.

This happens all the time, and it's not a problem UNLESS the characters are identifiable. If they have negative traits and are identifiable you could be sued. Make sure that you put enough differences in the character from the person that the identity isn't given away.

I am asked to make a parachute for a physics project to be thrown in the 3rd floor with an egg in which the egg will not break and so far no luck. I made a circle parachute with 8 strings and a rectangular parachute with 18. The egg always keeps on breaking. Does the parachute's speed get slower as it goes lower? I filed a petition to have my 18 year old daughter removed from the child support order..I had a teleconference scheduled for Aug. 30, 2010 at 2:00..I called the commissioners secretary to provide my phone # twice.Once when I received the granted motion for teleconference and again when I spoke to her about information that I had to fax regarding my case, and again at 2:15 8/30 when I hadnt received a phone call..I was told, he has many cases scheduled at 2 and should be calling shortly.At 3:45 when I still didnt hear anything, I was told that they didnt have my #..Imagine my surprise..When I disagreed and reminded her that I had given the # 3 times, she then said that they were very busy because some employees called out..She also told me that my case would be continued..To my ultimate surprise, i received a letter from the court stating that my case was dismissed because I did not provide my phone #..I originally filed this motion back in March, and it has been one issue after another due to errors in scheduling on there part..Now, due to incompetant employees, not only am I still paying for an 18 year old daughter that has graduated and moved out months ago, but an extra $100 @ month for braces, that, I dont mind but want the commissioner to hear my side of the medical arrears case.I spoke to the same secretary yesterday and she was quick to say that she is reopening my case, however, I am at my wits end..I do not think it is fair that Im having to deal with this..Its always something..Is it just me that runs into these costly errors?Who can I report this to? Need help diagnosing problem with 1995 ford pickup?

pickup runs fine except when I first start it, or when I shut it off and try to restart it. It starts fine, but 15-20 seconds after it has started and come up to normal idle it start to chug and idle poorly. This last for about 20 seconds then it comes back to normal idle and runs fine. If I jump in it , start it up and try to take off it chugs and sputters for a couple of minutes then takes off and runs fine until I shut it off for a couple of minutes, then it will do the same thing again. I have two fuel tanks and it does the same with both so I don't think it's the fuel pumps. I have a new fuel filter, air filter and the injectors have been cleaned. The check engine light does not come on. I don't know what's wrong. If it had a carb on it I would say the choke is sticking, because that's how it behaves, however it has fuel injection.

Why are my brakes locking up when it is raining?

I have a 86 gmc sierra 3/4 ton. The brakes completely lock up whenever I touch the brake pedal even slightly. This only happens when it is raining or just really wet. And also when it is dry the truck will not stop, I have to push the brake pedal really hard before I even start to slow down, and it takes forever to come to a complete stop. I dont know if I need new calipers or just new brake pads. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

The decay of America has been accelerated by groups so stupid that they deflect attention from the true issues. It is not even remotely possible to expect America to recover to its past golden years, without a significant cost. I have posted several replies to other similiar questions and the questions usually hinted at the type of answer desired and the truth is not flexible . Unfortunately most of the questions on such a critical issue....are asked by children..We live in a world of the "haves" and the "have nots".........the only thing keeping peace now is the presence of weapons and power. The shift has started in the power balance......India and China have both displaced the USA in key areas.......unless we are willing to undergo a type of "isolation", the USA can not recover without removing and neutralizing the upper 2 % of wealthy Americans and corporations. Changing our sense of fair and unfair.....as it applies to Christian values.....not as it applies to money and greed. The lessons of the past have not been remembered, we are making the same mistakes again....only this time we dont have the resources to recover. The true spirit of America will live on, even if America the country falls apart. We need to stand up and be proud to be American and not give a damn what other countries think. Do whatever you like. At the end of the day it's your life and your choice abut what to do with it. If your friends aren't supportive they're crap friends anyway. Personally if I were you I'd go to somewhere better, it'll look better on your resumes and all but it's all up to you not anyone else.

My german shepard wont eat ?

My german shepard hunter is 6 months and weighs approximately 50 to 60 pounds. Hes not fat but all muscle. The last time i took him to the vet the doctor told me he was teething. Lately he wont eat. He has been picking at his food. I dont want to give him any cheap food. Ive tried many different types of dog food. Ive been feedin him "eukanuba". The only way he eats it is if i mix it with water or milk or egg. I dont know if its because his teeth are bothering him or what. Can someone please explain why he wont eat. Hes not sad or anything.
