If a girl asks you on a date for her birthday?

There's a girl I worked with who knows everybody, good friends with all, nice personality, etc etc. However, I just know a little bit about her, not as much as everyone else and she asked me if I wanted to go on a date with her for her birthday tomorow! Now it's all cool and dandy, I'm not complaining, but out of everyone she knows, why me?
