Being judged based on college decision?

Do whatever you like. At the end of the day it's your life and your choice abut what to do with it. If your friends aren't supportive they're crap friends anyway. Personally if I were you I'd go to somewhere better, it'll look better on your resumes and all but it's all up to you not anyone else.
